The two winning speeches
at our public speaking final on the 11/12/2006 at
Stranmillis were:
The first person is Rachel Kennedy,Primary Class,from
Bloomfield Collegiate Prep. and her topic was 'Walking
along rural roads ain't worth the risk'.
The second person is Elizabeth Lane,Class B,from
Loreto Grammar School and her topic was 'Global positioning
systems in cars-a help or hindrance'.

Proficiency 2006 - 24th June |
Cambridge House Grammar School was the setting for
the 2006 Cycling Proficiency Competition.

School Quiz Final 2006 - 29th March |
Ballymena Showgrounds were the setting for a packed
night at the Primary School Road Safety Council Quiz
Final for 2006.
Eighteen teams took part with no more than a few
points between the first and eighteenth team.
Pictured are the three winning teams with their trophies
from Ballycarrickmaddy, St. John's Primary and St. Eugenes.

Quiz Final 2006 - 22nd March |
Park Plaza Hotel at Belfast International Airport
was once again the location for the Adult Road Safety
Council of Northern Ireland Quiz Final 2006.
The firemen from Foyle and District took first place
with high scores in every round, retaining their title
from 2005.
Silver plates engraved with the Road Safety Council
emblem were awarded along with a free nights accommodation
in the luxury Park Plaza for the winners and silver
plates for the runners up.
