Primary School Quiz WinnersWith strong competition from throughout the country the public speaking competition was hotly contested with some great winning speeches. Held in historic Stranmillis College the evening was a great success.

Annual Congress 2005

Primary School Quiz WinnersThe theme for this years' Congress was "Road Carnage - It's No Accident", highlighting the vast array of human and financial costs associated with the carnage on our roads.
Held once again in the Park Plaza the congress was well attended with key speakers from throughout the community taking the stand.

Adult Quiz Final 2005 - 23rd March

Primary School Quiz WinnersPark Plaza Hotel at Belfast International Airport saw a close competition again this year as over 40 finalists battled it out for the Road Safety Council of Northern Ireland Quiz Final 2005.

Mr. Ken Barr presided over the evenings events with nine rounds of road safety and general knowledge questions. In the end it was Foyle and District Committee who took the honours with Lisburn close behind in second place.

This year silver plates engraved with the Road Safety Council emblem were awarded along with a free nights accommodation in the luxury Park Plaza for the winners and a half price meal for two for the runners-up.

A prize draw was also held during the evening with a wide selection of quality prizes donated by members and local businesses. All proceeds from the evening will go towards Road Safety Council community events.

Primary School Quiz Final 2005 - 16th March

Primary School Quiz WinnersBallymena Showgrounds was the setting for the Primary School Quiz Final as teams from around the province competed for the cup.

Frank Mitchell hosted the evening attended by over 200 parents and children who enjoyed seven rounds of road safety, general knowledge and memory questions.

In first place was Meadowbridge Primary with Portstewart and Ballycarrickmaddy Primary Schools taking second and third place respectively.
